Course Description:
The primary objective of this practicum is for students to continue to develop as preachers of God’s Word by preparing and delivering sermons based on select texts (generally, 5-10 verses) from the New Testament Epistles. Students are expected to show a good balance of biblical exposition and practical application, using the principles taught in the “Introduction to Homiletics” course and the second half of the “Biblical Interpretation” course.

Course Description:
This practicum is designed to help students prepare for special speaking events, especially funerals and weddings. The practicum will also include helps for ministering to people during these significant times in their lives and preaching at other special events.

Course Description:
Topical lesson preparation and presentation will be the emphasis of the course. Special attention will be given to the process of researching a topical lesson and present it with practical application.

Course Description:
In this term, each student will organize and deliver their senior lesson in a "mock ladies day/retreat" manner.
Organization will include:
- Preparation and delivery of a 25-35 minute lesson
- Preparation of a "retreat folder" for each person in attendance which will include all noted requirements
A video will be made of each student during their senior lesson which will be uploaded for friends and family to enjoy.
