First Term

Practicum is Monday through Thursday from 1:00-1:40 (CDT)

Course Description:
The ambition of this practicum is to offer the student the opportunity to experience the preparation and delivery of textual Bible teaching. Training presentations and instructional materials are provided during the first week of classes.
Each student will select a New Testament text from a provided list and prepare a lesson to teach in a simulated Bible study. After the first week of instruction, every Monday through Thursday from 1:00 -1:40 pm student teaching will scheduled.
Evaluations by the instructors will follow each student-led Bible study.

Course Description:
This course is designed to encourage women in discovering their God given talents and abilities to speak to others with confidence. We will learn to overcome our fears and encourage one another in love as we explore the mechanics in the areas of public Bible reading, public prayer and the introduction of a speaker.

Course Description:
Public Speaking 5 is a detailed study of how to use the tool of exegesis in order to present accurate and effective lessons from the text of God's Word. We will learn how to prepare an exegetical lesson in this term that will be delivered in Public Speaking 6.
